The best way to see the Kachemak Bay area is from the Air. Our flightseeing give you a taste of the spectacular glaciers, some rough mountains, Island lakes and waterfalls. You can expect to see Mountain Goats, Black Bear and maybe a whale.
Most people find a ½ hour tour a little too short. The one-hour glacier tour is our most popular flightsee. Every direction you fly has something unique and spectacular to see from the Air. Homer Air offers you the opportunity of a lifetime to visit the Alaska Coastal Brown Bear in his natural environment. More information can be found on the wildlife viewing page.
 Accessing remote Alaska is one of our specialties at Homer Air. We have a very skilled team of experienced bush pilots required to perform off airport work. Fly out fishing and airtrekking to remote parts of the state to hike and camp are a few options.
 Our regular scheduled flight service to the Seldovia, Port Graham, and Nanwalek begins at 7:00AM and the last flight of the day departs at 7:00PM every day of the week during the summer months. During winter when we lose most of our daylight our scheduled flights begin at 9:00 AM and the last flight of the day departs at 4:00 PM every day of the week.
We provide service to Anchorage by charter only.
Rent the entire airplane for the time it takes you to get from where you are to where you want to go. The hourly cost for charter includes the pilot, gas and anything else required for operation of the aircraft. It can be economical and definitely more convenient. You get to choose your departure time and route of flight. It allows you to travel directly from point A to point B without making extra stops or switching airplanes.
